• Doctor consultations do not establish a permanent doctor-patient relationship
• Physicians on Healthportal are independent contractors, not employees

4. User Accounts

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Keep your password confidential and secure
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Payments and Subscriptions

If you purchase a subscription or service:

• You agree to pay the stated fees and any applicable taxes
• Recurring subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
• Cancellation must be made before the renewal date
• No refunds for partial months or cancellations
• We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice

Payment is processed securely by Stripe. All payment disputes are subject to Stripe's policies.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on Healthportal (articles, images, videos, software, logos) is owned by Healthportal or licensed from third parties. You may not:

• Reproduce or distribute content without permission
• Modify or create derivative works
• Use content for commercial purposes
• Remove or obscure copyright notices

Educational and personal use of non-commercial excerpts with proper attribution is permitted. For other uses, request permission at licensing@healthportal.com.

7. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you create (messages, forum posts, feedback). By posting content, you grant Healthportal a perpetual, royalty-free license to use, modify, and distribute it.

You warrant that your content does not infringe on anyone's rights, is not defamatory, and complies with all applicable laws. We may remove content that violates these terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Healthportal is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Medical outcomes or health consequences
• Service interruptions or technical failures
• Third-party actions or content

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the past 12 months, or $100, whichever is less.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you:

• Repeatedly misuse the service
• Fail to comply with our requests

Upon termination, your right to use Healthportal ends immediately. We may delete your account data after 30 days.
